Mattia Vicari, World Heritage Exchange Student (Italy) is spending his exchange year with the Federico family in Georgia, USA
"Fencing is a great experience to try a new sport that I wouldn't be able to do in my country and it helped me to know lots of nice people. I didn't even know the word fencing before this experience. I'll be involved with fencing until April.
I like my American school a lot and I am interested in all their history, government and literature because I can have a deeper view of the American past and their culture.
I play piano just for myself. It's just a hobby and I have started playing jazz also just for fun. I used to play classical music before coming here. I also have found it really interesting to learn other types of popular American music like countryrock. I find it really exciting. |
I think I'll remember every single moment I have spent here because I am keeping a little souvenir of everything I have done since the first day, like movie's tickets, school journal, etc.
