Attention Students & Host Families!
|
As you reflect on the exchange year, we suspect that during the past year, you have had some fun and memorable photos or videos taken at home, school, social activities, events, sports, trips, etc. If so, and you would like to share them with us, we would like to consider putting them up on our website or maybe in our brochures (for all the world to see). They do not have to be professional shots. To the contrary, spontaneous and informal photos are sometimes the very best (and most fun or engaging) photos to see.
If you have some good shots from this past year that you would like to share with us, we would be most grateful if you could send them to bodil@asse.com or bodil@world-heritage.org. The photo quality (clarity) should be good but, other than that, no photo is too silly or unsuitable. Just send us pictures of your best memories and we will be happy to receive them.
Many thanks for your help! |

| Dreams Exist to be Realized |
|
Dreams exist to be realized
Since 2 years I'm thinking "Soon, soon you will make it, you will run a Half Marathon".
I really don't know why, but there was always something that made me hesitate, something that kept me from doing it. |

| Meet Thailand! Hana's Story |
|
My name is Hana or Pojnicha Panturaks. I'm from Nonthaburi, Thailand, which is close to Bangkok. I'm living with my host family Steve and Barbara Hurst in Wichita, Kansas, USA. While studying in Thailand, my girlfriend took a test to become an exchange student in Europe and that is what made me want to do this. She came back with lots of things, she got a lot of experiences from where she went. She now has friends from a different country and they exchanged their cultures. Especially, she got new languages from this opportunity. That is the reason why I became an exchange student.

| Light! Camera! Action! |
| As a young adult, the search for a future career is very exciting. Finding out what you would like to earn your money with can be a tough question. But not for Yannick Hoerner, ASSE Exchange Student (Germany), living with the Smith/Amrhein Family and his host sister Lucie Lerat, ASSE Exchange Student (France), in Flint, Michigan, USA. His dream is to become a TV show host or a news anchor and he has made valuable experience in the TV business through internships already. So, when his local ASSE representative Nina Muckenthaler approached him asking if he would like to host a local TV show, he grasped his chance. |
